Hi Anonymous, We took extra interest after the Channel5 ads went on a continuous loop with no explanation.
Seizure of state-controlled media is usually a precursor to bad news and when the evening news went off the air for no reason, one naturally takes notice. The ticker tape didn't appear till after 10pm.
The kick the bucket scenario was one possibility. :-)
In the end, the reason was far less dramatic. A technical hitch due to an audio fault.
