If you want to get beyond the one sided views and discover the Japanese views of Britian's defeat (or alternatively, Japan's victory), you should read the book "Japan's Greatest Victory, Britian's Greatest Defeat" by Masanobu Tsuji, the achitect of this victory (according to the author).

We know a lot about how Britian failed, but we know almost nothing about how and why Japan was able to succeed in what is probably one of the greatest military campaigns in history. What's obvious to me was Tsuji's indomitable spirit, determination and daring. His plan was bold and the risks were high but he pulled it off. Not only did he plan this campaign but also led from the front.

https://www.amazon.com/Japans-Greatest-Victory-Britains-Defeat/dp/188511933X

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masanobu_Tsuji
Ronaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00925480067961711546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2348464617577736454.post-36658077013999263532017-08-23T01:48:43.936+08:002017-08-23T01:48:43.936+08:00Views are wrote by "victors".
